Does Your Light Really Attract Light?

Yesterday, I overheard someone refer to the principle of light attracting light, and it immediately caused me to write down the thought………..”Does my personal light really attract other light”?

So, I looked up the science of light attraction………and it does.

According to general relativity, yes, two beams of light would gravitationally attract each other. Einstein’s equation says that;

R−12Rgμν=8πTμν

What’s interesting though is that parallel light doesn’t attract. Anti-parallel (opposite direction) light beams attract each other by four times the expectation, while parallel (same direction) light beams do not attract each other at all.

We have all experienced that feeling when someone walks in a room and just lights it up. If you know them, you are likely excited to see them again. If you don’t know them, you just have to meet.

Kinda cool isn’t it!?

Unfortunately, you also know others that when they leave the room…………..you know what I mean?

My friend David Evans made that exact comment to me yesterday when he said, “I was energized by getting up and leaving that room”.

Your light radiates with those in sync with you, but continues to attract (at a power of four) new light.

So, the nagging question is…………………what are you doing to attract new light?

Get out there this week and meet someone new. You’ll be glad you did, your associates, friends and family will benefit, and you will all shine a little brighter.

Make it a priority…………..smiles…………have a great week, and Keep on Seeking……………..Mark
