Looking for the BAD
A couple days ago, I was listening to my friend Susan talk about how infuriated she was with a coworker.
She was struggling with the reality that her attitude had gotten so bad that being around the gal was just a rub. Anything she did or said was difficult to take. Even the expressions on her face were irritating.
Have you ever felt that way? Have you gotten so annoyed at someone that it was difficult to be around them even for a moment?
Of course you have. We all have at some time or another.
So……..here’s my advice for healing and improving.
Abraham Lincoln said it best.
“If you look for the bad in people expecting to find it, you surely will”
“I don’t like that man; I must get to know him better”
Don’t waste your days being irritable. Better to find commonality to smile about. It’s best to seek something that causes you to laugh.
Shrug it off. Make it a priority to brighten the room. You can do it and you’ll be glad you did!
P.S. By the way, I’m smiling especially big today on May 20, 2015 because it’s my 37th wedding anniversary. Gigi and I laugh almost every single day and she is the joy in my life! Remember the time we………….Happy Anniversary Kiddo!!
