I’ve been very focused lately on planning, organizing, and growth in 2012. You likely are too. As is often true, the hurdle that continues to frustrate me is trying to get people to make a decision and get something started.
Someone needs to take charge, and very often that person should more quickly aim, fire, and then get ready. Often times, we spend so much time on the ready (what and how we should do it) that opportunity passes us by and we miss the chance for success (or somebody else beats us to it).
The first step is determining the why we should do it (aim), then get to work making it happen (fire). You can find the right folks to help implement (ready) once you know your why.
Opportunity is all around you if your antennas are up. I hope that you will Simply Act more often in 2012. I’d be willing to wager that you’ll be right more often than you are wrong, and you’ll be more successful than ever before.
On a personal note, my calendar has glimpses of productive months in 2012 and I’m excited to know that I’ll have the opportunity to share with folks all over the country. It’s very rewarding to help professionals find successful steps to find their “why” and to help share ways to enrich lives. If there is any way I can help you, your company, or your associations succeed, please let me know. It would be my pleasure to serve.
