The Art of Being Busy
I often begin a speaking or teaching session with a question to get my audiences mental juices flowing.
Recently, I’ve been inclined to ask this question:
“What is the one skill you need improvement on that would help you more consistently produce at a higher level?”
The most common answer………………….
Thomas Edison once said:
“Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing.”
Maybe it’s time to refocus your priorities?
This summer, why not get up 15 minutes earlier.
Plan your work then work your plan.
I know you can do it and the extra perspiration might just produce miracles!!
Smiles, have a GREAT week and Keep on Seeking…………..Mark
