I just finished reading “Aspire”, a terrific book written by Kevin Hall. It would be worth your time to include the book on your summer reading list.
There were multiple ideas and word definitions that I was impressed with in his book, but the single thought that struck me as a current issue was Kevin’s explanation of the ancient Aztec word Ollin.
Pronounced ALL-in, it is an expression of immense depth that conveys intense and immediate movement. Ollin means to move and act now with all your heart. It means to follow your path in life wholeheartedly. To experience Ollin, we have to get “All-in.”
Are you “All-in” as you move through each day, especially in trying times? Are you committed to make the changes necessary to improve your life, your business, and your circumstances? Are you focusing your work and your efforts using positive energy? Are you living your “Why” each and every day? Do you take 1% of each day (approximately 15 minutes) to reflect on the past 24 hours and contemplate your action plan for the next 24 hours?
I’m looking forward to meeting Kevin some day in the near future so I can tell him personally how terrific his book is. And when I do, I’ll tell him for you that you’re working tirelessly to be “All-in” as well……….If you see him first, will you tell him for me?!
