I read last week that the average 4 year old laughs 300 times during the course of a day and the average adult laughs only 15 times. Ouch! Is it that adults don’t believe they have anything to laugh about, or is it that adults are allowing life to weigh to heavily on them?
William James once wrote: “We don’t laugh because we are happy. We are happy because we laugh”
You may have heard that the secret of happiness is simple: find out what you truly love to do then direct all your energy towards doing it. Maybe then we’ll have something more to laugh about and that would be funny!
