Who Could Call YOU in the Middle of the Night?
A couple weeks ago, Gigi and I spent the night with her ailing mother (just to be helpful).
When we went to bed, I shut the bedroom door and it locked.
And I mean locked!
We quietly struggled to open the door with no success.
It’s after midnight, no tools to manipulate the lock, and we’re stuck.
Luckily, my wife brought her phone with her to bed.
How many times have I preached that you never do that!!!?
So we made that call in the middle of the night to our oldest son (father of 4) who came immediately to our rescue.
He asked no questions, made no grumbling remarks that we woke him up, and never frowned or puffed that we had inconvenienced him.
Wow I thought. I wonder how many people are as lucky as we are.
If you’re like most people, you can probably count on one hand the people that would come to your rescue in the middle of the night.
You may have earned the right to ask, but very few would actually come.
Cherish those that would and show them an abundance of gratitude because eventually you will have to ask.
And when you do, I hope it goes as well for you as it did for us!
Smiles, have a GREAT week and Keep on Seeking…………………Mark
P.S. I have begun posting many of the past Mark’s Minutes on YouTube and would love to hear your thoughts. You can watch them by clicking Mark’s Minute ……..my goal is to have 50 posted by the end of the year.
