Last night, I escorted Momma Evie (my 90 yr old mother), Gigi (my beautiful bride of 40 years) and Kerri (our 24 yr old baby girl) to the movie, The Greatest Showman.
We really loved it, so if you haven’t seen the movie and enjoy musicals, you absolutely should go.
Hugh Jackman and the entire cast are terrific, the music is toe tapping, the costumes beautiful and the cinematography is wonderful.
The movie is only loosely based on P.T. Barnum’s actual life, but I was reminded of some principles that are true to this day.
And…..there were some memorable lines to learn from.
Here’s one;
“Comfort….the hindrance of progress.”
I’ve seen that over and over in my life.
When I get too comfortable, I get lazy.
The lesson?
It’s the beginning of a new year.
If you haven’t set your sights on new projects and achievements for 2018 and written them down, it’s time to stop what you’re doing and do it. DO IT RIGHT NOW!
2018 can be your best year yet and you deserve it. You actually deserve ALL OF IT!
I’m rooting for you and would love to hear your biggest goal.
So get to work making it happen…..I'm just one of the people rooting for you!!!
Smiles, have a GREAT week and Keep on Seeking…….Mark
